Performance and Research

Effective performance management arrangements enable informed decisions and improved services. Such management is dependent on timely and accurate information.

Monitoring performance of the drug and alcohol treatment system in Sandwell against local and national targets is a key area for the DAAT. To this end various performance management reports and statistical analyses are produced using locally available data.

With an increasing focus towards outcomes and quality of life, strategic analyses and research can highlight the wider impact of work addressing drugs and alcohol in the borough using partner-wide data.  Such analysis is used to inform local treatment plan activity and commissioning.
